Peanut Butter Chewies

- 1 cup Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
- OR 1 stick Crisco® Baking Sticks Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
- 1 1/2 cups Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- HEAT oven to 350°F.
- COMBINE shortening, peanut butter and brown sugar in bowl of electric mixer; beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat in eggs, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
- COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Mix into shortening mixture at low speed until just blended. Stir in pecans. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
- BAKE 10 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned on bottom. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheets. Place on cooling racks to cool completely.
