  • 1 1/2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup PET® Evaporated Milk
  • 6 pork chops, 1 1/2-inch thick, with pocket cut in side for stuffing
  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 envelope dried onion soup mix
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup PET® Evaporated Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour

Preparation Directions

  • COMBINE seasoned stuffing mix and 1/2 cup evaporated milk. Let stand 5 minutes or until milk has been absorbed, stirring occasionally.
  • STUFF pork chops with stuffing mixture. Secure with toothpicks. Spray large skillet generously with no-stick cooking spray. Add pork chops and brown on both sides.
  • COMBINE dried onion soup mix, water, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Add to pork chops. Cover and simmer 50 minutes. Remove to warm platter.
  • WHISK evaporated milk gradually into flour in a small bowl. Stir into hot liquid in skillet. Cook and stir until thickened. Pour over chops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by This was easy even though I strayed from the recipe I used Pork Stove Top Stuffing and substituted chicken broth for water and added sage cooked turkey sausage from the farmers market. I used 1 inch chops and did not stuff them but browned them on both sides then added the stuffing on top. I then gently poured the onion soup mixture over the stuffing/chops and simmered for 20 mins covered. I then gently poured the onion gravy over the chops (used 1% milk instead of pet milk & 2 1/2 tbsp flour) and simmered another 10 min. This seems like a quick and simple delicious meal for a weeknight if using thin boneless chops because simmering times will be less. I will be trying this for my New Years Day Brunch using a pork loin. I will let everyone know how it tastes. Thanks Pillsbury this is a keeper. December 27, 2012
