Yield 4 1/2 dozen cookies

  • 2 1/2 cups Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 oz.) package None Such® Classic Original Condensed Mincemeat, crumbled
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsps. plus 1 tsp. milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation Directions
  • Step 1Heat oven to 375°F. Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar in small bowl.
  • Step 2Beat butter and sugar until fluffy in large bowl. Add egg. Stir in vanilla and mincemeat. Add flour mixture, mix well (batter will be stiff). Roll into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly.
  • Step 3Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown. Stir together glaze ingredients in small bowl. Drizzle or brush on cookies while still warm.
  • TipMoisten fingers to make rolling balls of dough easier.
