Funfetti® OREO® Cheesecake Upside Down Brownies
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 8-oz Package Cream Cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Line the bottom of the pan with whole OREO® cookies to form a complete layer.
Prepare Cheesecake layer. In a mixing bowl combine 8oz softened cream cheese, ¼ cup granulated sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla. Blend until combined and scrape down the bowl. Add 1 egg and mix until combined.
Spoon in the cream cheese mixture over the OREO® cookie layer in the pan. Gently spread to cover the OREO® cookie layer.
Prepare Brownie layer. In a mixing bowl combine OREO® brownie mix, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, ¼ cup water, and 1 egg. Mix until smooth and shiny.
Add OREO® brownie mixture over the cheesecake layer and gently spread to cover.
Bake for 38-40 minutes for an 8x8 inch pan or 35-38 minutes for a 9x9 inch pan. Or, until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely. Use a spatula to gently separate the brownie from the sides of the pan. Place a plate over the bottom of the pan and flip the brownie pan over to release from the pan.
