Funfetti® x Oreo® Mini Cake Towers Recipe
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Cake & Cupcake Mix with OREO® Cookie Pieces
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
1-2 tubs Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Frosting with OREO® Cookie Pieces
Round cookie cutter
Piping tip (number 1M)
PREPARE cake mix according to box instructions.
SPRAY a baking sheet pan with non-stick cooking spray. If desired, cut a piece of parchment paper to line the bottom of the sheet pan. Spray the parchment paper with non-stick cooking spray too for easy removal. Pour cake batter onto the baking sheet and spread evenly.
BAKE at 350° F for 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes. Invert pan onto a wire cooling rack and remove parchment paper if added from the cake.
CUT out circles for mini cakes using a small round cookie cutter. Enjoy remaining scraps of cake for a chef’s snack.
SPOON frosting into a piping bag fitted with a piping tip (number 1M). Pipe a swirl onto a round of a mini cake. Add the second and third layers of the mini cake and add frosting in between.
ADD OREO® Cookie Pieces from frosting lid on top of each mini cake tower. Repeat for remaining mini cakes.
