

Stars & Stripes Tsunami Cake Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Stars and Stripes Cake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
¾ cup Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Stars and Stripes Vanilla Frosting
Cake topper
Large round cookie cutter or biscuit cutter
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS
Step 1
PREPARE cake mix according to package directions. Use a domed mold or oven-proof bowl (check with the manufacturer for tempered glass, ceramic, or metal bowls) to make the cake. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Use leftover batter for cupcakes. Cool completely.
Step 2
Completely remove all foil from frosting tub. Right before serving, microwave frosting for 30-45 seconds or until frosting is pourable.
Step 3
Place cake on serving plate. Place your large round cookie cutter in the center, gently pressing just slightly into the cake. Fill with melted frosting, and top with sprinkles.
Step 4
Add cake topper in center. When serving, lift slowly to let the sprinkle tsunami flood gates open!
