  • Single Crust Classic Crisco® Pie Crust
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 salt
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Preparation Directions
  • Step 1Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Step 2Prepare single pie crust according to recipe directions, using a 9-inch pie plate; do not bake.
  • Step 3Combine butter, brown sugar, vanilla and salt in a large bowl until well blended. Slowly stir in corn syrup and eggs. Mix well. Fold in nuts; pour into unbaked pie crust.
  • Step 4Bake 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F. Bake an additional 35 to 45 minutes or until center is set and firm.
  • Step 5Cool to room temperature and serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
