Snow Globe Cookie Cake
1/2 cup softened butter
1 large egg

COOKIE CAKE DIRECTIONS:
Set oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl combine cookie mix, flour, butter and egg. Mix until soft dough is formed, and all ingredients are incorporated.
Divide dough in half. Place one half in refrigerator.
Use other half to create snow globe base. Shape the dough into a ball and dust with extra flour.
Place dough ball at the top of the lined cookie sheet and press or roll into 10-inch round.
Remove 1/3 remaining dough from the refrigerator. Roll dough into oblong shape on floured surface, and cut into 6x2.5-inch rectangle. Trim away bottom edge of the 10-inch globe and place the rectangle next to the globe with trimmed edge touching the long side of the rectangle.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are set and light golden brown. Cool completely.
Dust work space with flour and roll out remaining dough from refrigerator into a 1/8-inch thick round. Cut shapes using winter themed cookie cutters to create winter wonderland pieces (snowmen, gingerbread, snowflakes etc).
Bake cookie shapes for 4-7 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely.
Once completely cooled, transfer to flat tray or platter for decorating. Frost top of the globe with blue holiday frosting.
Frost the base of the globe with vanilla frosting.
Decorate snowmen cookies with vanilla frosting. Add cookies to the top of the blue frosted globe.
Fill a piping bag or plastic bag with corner tip cut with red frosting. Frost scarves or hats on the snow family!
Use white sprinkles to make a snow hill for the snow family to stand on.
Decorate snowflake cookies and place on the base of the snow globe.
Add blue Funfetti® holiday sprinkles to globe for a winter wonderland!
