Dino Cupcake Cones Recipe
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box directions
24 ice jumbo cream cake cones (about 2 ¾ 4-inches tall with flat bottoms)
Optional: green, orange and blue food coloring
Piping tip (number 1M)
HEAT oven to 350°F. Prepare cake mix according to box directions. Grease muffin tray thoroughly. Spoon a scant 3 tablespoons batter into each muffin cavity without a liner. (Do not overfill.) Place an inverted jumbo cupcake cone on top of each cupcake.
BAKE for 15-22 minutes. Cool completely in muffin tin before removing.
IF desired, divide frosting into three bowls and dye green, orange and blue. Lightly frost each cupcake with a butter knife or offset spatula.
SPOON frosting into a piping bag fitted with a piping tip (number 1M). Frost a swirl of frosting onto each cupcake cone. Top with sprinkles from frosting lid.
