Funfetti® Churros Recipe
½ cup water
⅛ cup milk
Canola oil for frying
Piping tip (number 1M)
ADD Funfetti cake donut mix, eggs, water and milk to a medium mixing bowl and stir until combined. Fit a piping bag with an open star piping tip (number 1M). Add churro batter to the piping bag.
HEAT oil in a deep heat resistant pan until temperature reaches 325°, under adult supervision. Pipe 3-4 churros straight into the heated oil. When one side of the churro starts getting golden brown, flip each churro to cook the other side using heat proof tongs. Once both sides are golden brown, remove churros from pan and drain onto a paper towel lined plate. Roll while still warm in cinnamon sugar if desired.
REMOVE all foil bits from frosting tub and microwave for 30 seconds or until pourable. Drizzle chocolate frosting over churros and top with sprinkles from frosting lid. Use remaining melted frosting to dip churros into.
