Golf Green Cupcakes Recipe
1 box Pillsbury™ Moist Supreme® Golden Butter Cake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per package instructions
2 tubs Pillsbury™ Creamy Supreme® White Frosting
Green gel color
White pearl sprinkles
White paper or parchment paper
Prepare cupcakes according to the instructions on package. Let cool completely.
Tint one tub of frosting with green gel color in a lighter shade and tint the other one a few shades darker
Take a 2 inch wide piece of parchment paper and fold it in half, cut out a flag shape making sure the flat side of the triangle is on the side with the fold.
Place a toothpick inside the flag and add a little glue to secure the two sides around the toothpick.
Spread a thin layer of lighter green frosting onto the cupcake making it as smooth as possible.
Fill a piping bag fitted with grass piping tip with the darker green frosting, pipe around the outer edge of the cupcake making sure to leave some of the lighter frosting exposed in the center of the cupcake to resemble a golf green.
Add the white pearl sprinkle and the flag to the lighter green frosted area.
