INGREDIENTS

Dough: 

1 box of Pillsbury™ Hot Roll Mix

3 tablespoons sugar

1 cup hot water

2 tablespoons butter(softened)

1 egg (room temp)

1 tablespoon cocoa powder 

1 teaspoon vanilla 

Red food coloring 

Cinnamon Filling:

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cup butter(softened)

1 & 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 

Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting:

1 8oz package of cream cheese

1/2 cup butter (softened)

3 & 1/2 cups powdered sugar 

1 teaspoon vanilla 

1 teaspoon cinnamon

PREPARATION DIRECTIONS

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 and coat 13x9 inch pan with cooking spray and set aside.  Combine flour, cocoa powder and yeast package with sugar in a large bowl. Stir in water, red food color butter, vanilla and egg until dough pulls away from sides of bowl. Knead on floured surface for 5 minutes. Cover. Let rest for 5 minutes. 

Step 2

Combine cinnamon filling ingredients. Roll out roll dough to a 15x10 inch rectangle. Spread cinnamon filling over the rectangle completely. Roll tightly and slice into one inch pieces. Place in baking pan and cover with towel. Let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size. Mix frosting ingredients while dough rises. 

Step 3

Bake cinnamon rolls for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool and frost.
