1 box Pillsbury Pumpkin Quick Bread & Muffin Mix

1 cup milk

1/3 cup oil

2 eggs

½ cup mini chocolate chips


24 brown round chocolate candies

24 round malted milk ball candies

1 bag thin pretzel sticks for the spider legs


Step 1

Set oven to 400°F. Line pan with cupcake liners.

Step 2

In a bowl, beat quick bread and muffin mix, milk, oil and eggs per package instructions.

Step 3

Once ingredients are combined, mix in mini chocolate chips until incorporated evenly throughout.

Step 4

Pour batter into cupcake pan.

Step 5

Bake muffins for 15-20 minutes per package instructions.

In a bowl, tint ½ container frosting with 3 drops orange food coloring and stir until combined.

Step 2

Place orange dyed frosting in piping bag or plastic bag with corner tip cut, frost tops of cupcakes with a swirl.


Step 1

Place undyed frosting in a piping bag or plastic bag with corner tip cut, pipe spider webs on top of orange swirls.

Step 2

Gently place 1 round chocolate candy and 1 malted milk ball candy for the spider’s body and head.

Step 3

Take 4 pretzel sticks and break in half.

Step 4

Place broken pretzel sticks in a triangle form around the candies to create spider legs.
