Funfetti® Unicorn Cupcakes
1 package Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Strawberry Cake and Cupcake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per package directions
1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Unicorn Vanilla Frosting
Food coloring (blue)
Rainbow baking cups
Rectangular sour strip gummies
CUPCAKE PREPARATION DIRECTIONS:
Set oven to 350°F. Line pan with cupcake liners.
In a large bowl, beat 1 box cake mix, water, eggs, and oil per package instructions.
Pour batter into cupcake pan; fill each cupcake liner halfway for 24 cupcakes. Bake for 19-23 minutes per package instructions.
Let cupcakes cool completely before decorating.
CUPCAKE DECORATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Divide white Funfetti unicorn frosting into 2 separate small bowls. Tint one bowl with 2 drops blue food coloring.
Spoon blue and white frostings into one large decorating bag fitted with large star tip, alternating colors while filling bag. Pipe frosting onto cupcakes in circular pattern, beginning at outside edge and moving toward center, to create a swirl.
Download and print out the unicorn horns onto white cardstock paper. Cut each one out with scissors and attach onto toothpicks with tape.
Cut the gummy candies into little triangles to make the ears of the unicorns for your cupcakes.
Decorate with sprinkles from lid. Place a unicorn horn cupcake topper in the center of each cupcake between the ears.
