Witch’s Cauldron Slime-Filled Funfetti Cupcakes
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per package directions
4 cups green gummy bears
1 cup water
Licorice candy ropes
Round green candies (like M&Ms)
Cupcake Preparation Directions:
Set oven to 350°F. Line pan with cupcake liners.
In a large bowl, beat 1 box cake mix, water, eggs, and oil per package instructions.
Pour batter into cupcake pan; fill each cupcake liner half way for 24 cupcakes. Bake for 19-23 minutes per package instructions.
Let cupcakes cool completely before decorating.
Slime Center Preparation Directions:
Combine gummy bears and water in a saucepan. Warm on medium-low heat until the gummy bears have completely melted. Allow to cool completely.
Once cupcakes have cooled, cut a small hole in the top of each cupcake. Do not cut all the way through the bottom.
Spoon cooled green slime and fill in the cupcake hole with about 1 tbsp of green slime.
Cauldron Decoration Preparation Directions:
After cupcakes have cooled and have been filled with green slime, frost the tops with frosting to conceal slime. Allow frosting to slightly spill over edge of cupcake liner to resemble a bubbling cauldron.
Decorate with provided spooky eyes/sprinkles and the chopped gummy worms, and round green candies as desired.
Finish with attaching licorice candy rope ends to each side of the cupcakes to resemble a cauldron handle.
