Ballerina Cake Pops Recipe
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
Pink candy melts
Pink sanding sugar
Pink cupcake liners of your choice
Cake pop sticks
PREHEAT your oven to 350F and bake your cake according to package instructions. Once baked let it cool completely before crumbling it up and placing it in a large mixing bowl. Mix the cake crumbs and 1 cup of vanilla frosting until it forms the cake pop dough.
MELT your pink candy melts and set aside next to the cake pop sticks. Roll 1 tablespoon sized balls and place in a container. Dip your sticks into the candy melts and place the dipped side into each cake pop. Refrigerate for 10-15 mins.
CUT a slit into the bottom of your pink cupcake liners and stick the cake pop stick in the center. Fold the liner in at the top to create a skirt-like effect.
REMOVE the cake pops and dip them in melted pink chocolate. Sprinkle the tops with pink sanding sugar and place the liner skirt on the bottom. Enjoy!
