2 tubs Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Spring Frosting
Mini chocolate chips
Yellow + Orange food coloring
Small round piping tip
Leaf piping tip
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS: OVEN BAKED DONUTS AND DONUT HOLES
PREPARE donuts according to package instructions. Let cool completely.
REMOVE sprinkles and tinfoil from the Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Spring Frosting tub and microwave for 30 seconds or until frosting is melted. Dip the donuts in the frosting and place onto a cooling rack with parchment paper underneath. Sprinkle on sprinkles from frosting tub in a ‘U’ shape towards one side of the donuts. Allow to dry.
DIVIDE Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Spring Frosting into 3 bowls and dye different tones of yellow/orange. Spoon half the darkest orange frosting into a piping bag fitted with a small round piping tip. Add the remaining colored frostings to piping bags fitted with leaf tips.
PLACE mini chocolate chips upside down onto the donut for the eyes. Pipe the beak using the dark orange fitted with small round piping tip. Pipe side and back feathers on the opposite side using the remaining colored frostings fitted with leaf tips. Set aside to dry.
