Christmas Light Cupcakes
1 package Pillsbury Yellow Cake Mix (or any cake mix of your choice)
Ingredients to prepare cake mix according to package instructions
2 tubs White Frosting
1 tub Chocolate Fudge Frosting
Black gel food coloring
Prepare cupcakes according to box instructions, let cool completely.
Fill a large piping bag fitted with a large round tip with White Frosting.
Apply a generous swirl of frosting on top of the cooled cupcake.
Add a small amount of black get food colour to about 1/4 cup of dark chocolate frosting to deepen the shade.
Add black frosting to a small piping bag fitted with a very small round tip, or cut off the tip of a disposable piping bag.
Pipe black frosting in a thin line swirling around the cupcake to create the string of the lights.
Add mini M&M’S on to the black frosting to look like mini Christmas lights.
