INGREDIENTS

1 box Pillsbury Funfetti® The Elf on the Shelf® Sugar Cookie Mix with Candy Bits​

⁠Additional ingredients to prepare cookie mix per box instructions

1 Tub of PillsburyCreamy Supreme® Vanilla Frosting

1 Tub of PillsburyCreamy Supreme® Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Piping bags

Piping tips (numbers 4 and 1M)

Green and black food coloring

Christmas tree cake pan

Candy coated chocolate candies

PREPARATION DIRECTIONS

Step 1

PREHEAT the oven to 325° F and prepare your cookie mix according to box instructions. Grease the tree cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. Fill the tree pan with cookie dough and bake for 20-25 mins. Let the cookie cool completely before carefully turning the pan upside down on your serving tray.

Step 2

DYE Vanilla Frosting with green food coloring for the “tree”.

Step 3

FROST the “tree” portion of the cake with green frosting using a butter knife or offset spatula.

Step 4

DYE ¼ cup of the Chocolate Fudge Frosting with black food coloring. Spoon black frosting into a piping bag fitted with an open round piping tip (number 4). Spoon remaining undyed Chocolate Fudge Frosting into a piping bag fitted with an open star piping tip (number 1M). Pipe the “trunk” of the tree.

Step 5

PIPE a black “string” of lights on each level of your tree and place candy coated chocolate candies  sideways as “lights”. Serve and enjoy!
