Earthquake Cake Recipe
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Premium Cake Mix
2 cups white chocolate chips
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Confetti Vanilla Flavored Frosting
Optional: ice cream
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick cooking spray. Scatter white chocolate chips on the bottom of the baking pan.
ADD Funfetti cake mix to a medium bowl. Add in eggs, milk and oil to the bowl and mix until fully combined with a stand mixer, hand mixer or a whisk. Pour cake batter into the baking dish on top of the chocolate chips.
SPOON frosting into a piping bag without a piping tip. Snip off the end of the piping bag. Pipe frosting into the cake batter, dispersing across the baking dish. Using a butter knife, swirl and mix the frosting into the batter.
BAKE for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Optional: cover the cake in the last 5 minutes of baking with aluminum foil to prevent excess browning. Remove cake from oven and allow to cool completely. Serve if desired with ice cream and top with sprinkles from frosting lid.
