Easter Bunny Cake Recipe
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Premium Cake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
1-2 tubs Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Flavored Frosting
2 9” cake round pans
Round chocolate candy for bunny eyes
Gumdrop for bunny nose
Strawberry twisted rope candy for bunny whiskers and mouth
PREPARE cake mix according to package instructions. Spray 2 9” cake round pans with nonstick cooking spray and/or line with parchment paper for easy removal. Cool completely.
CUT one of the cake rounds to make ears, one on each end of the cake round. Cut a small c-shaped arc to form the ears. Invert the other cake around for the head of the bunny. Frost the bunny head and ears with Funfetti vanilla frosting. Top with sprinkles from frosting tub to create the bunny’s ears. Add chocolate candy, gumdrop and strawberry twisted rope candy to create the bunny’s face.
Optional: if you love extra thick frosting, use two tubs of Funfetti vanilla frosting!
