Yield 1 Oversized Donut

2 eggs

1/3 Milk

1/2 Water

Glaze from Pillsbury Funfetti® Cake Donut Mix

2-3 tablespoons milk

Giant Donut Cake Pan

Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 350 F. Spray non-stick donut pan with baking spray or lightly grease with oil. Set aside.

*Optional: Prepare a 8x10 inch cake pan filled with about 1/4" of water for a water bath.

Step 2

COMBINE wet ingredients: two eggs, milk and water. Set Aside. SIFT the donut mix into a large bowl using a fine mesh strainer. Set sprinkles aside.

Step 3

SLOWLY pour the wet ingredients into the sifted donut mix, while gently whisking to combine. Whisk until there are no clumps. Gently fold the sprinkles into the batter with a rubber spatula.

Step 4

POUR batter evenly into large donut pan.

Step 5

PLACE a kitchen towel down on the counter. Holding donut pan with two hands, bang it on the counter a few times to remove air bubbles from batter.

Step 6

PUT the water bath in the center of the top rack of the oven. Put the donut pan in the center of the middle rack of the oven.

Step 7

BAKE for 18 minutes. Rotate donut pan 180 degrees. Move the optional water bath to the bottom rack. BAKE for another 7-10 minutes or until slightly golden on top.

Step 8

REMOVE cake from oven and place onto a cooling rack. Once cooled, flip onto rack and let it finish cooling.

Step 9

MIX glaze packet included with donut mix with milk and stir until combined.

Step 10

GLAZE giant donut. Move donut to serving dish and enjoy!
