Gluten Free* Frosted Almond Cupcakes
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per package instructions
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2/3 cup sliced almonds
HEAT oven to 350°F. Line 24 muffin cups with paper baking cups.
PREPARE cake mix according to package instructions using water, oil and eggs. Blend in almond extract. Divide into prepared muffin cups. Sprinkle with sliced almonds. Bake according to package instructions for cupcakes. Cool according to package instructions.
PLACE frosting in decorating bag fitted with medium star tip. Pipe small swirl of frosting in center of each cupcake.
