Gravity Defying Cake Recipe
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Premium Cake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
3 tubs Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Flavored Frosting
Small wooden skewers
Small tea cup topper
PREPARE cake mix according to package instructions in three 6” cake tins. Cool completely.
FROST the cake with Funfetti vanilla frosting adding frosting between each layer. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
INSERT wooden skewers into straws for support. Coat the straws with frosting lightly and add sprinkles from the frosting lid. Attach the tea cup cake topper to straws with tape, then cover any tape with frosting. Note: make sure all guests know this topper is not edible.
REMOVE cake from the fridge. Insert straws and cake topper into the cake. Pour sprinkles from one frosting lid at the base of the cake topper to create the “spill”. Decorate the rest of the straw with the remaining sprinkles.
