Peppermint Dessert Bar
½ tsp peppermint extract
Red food coloring
Crushed candy canes
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream
Prepare brownies in a 9x13 pan according to package directions. Let cool completely.
Mix frosting, peppermint extract, and a couple drops of food coloring to create the frosting layer. Spread evenly onto brownies.
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Heat cream until hot. Combine chocolate and cream and mix until smooth. Pour over frosting layer and smooth.
Add crushed candy canes to the top.
