2 cups Pillsbury BEST Multi-Purpose Gluten Free Flour Blend

3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

3/4 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup butter, softened

1 3/4 cups sugar

3 large eggs, at room temperature

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups hot water

2 tubs Pillsbury Creamy Supreme® Chocolate Fudge Flavored Frosting


Step 1

HEAT oven to 350°F. Coat 2 (9-inch) round cake pans with no-stick cooking spray.

Step 2

COMBINE flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Cream butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add sugar gradually. Beat about 4 minutes or until smooth. Add eggs, beating after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture gradually on low speed. Add hot water. Stir until batter is smooth. Pour batter into prepared pans.

Step 3

BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans to wire rack to cool completely. Frost cake as desired.
