Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per package directions
1 (14 oz.) can
1/3 cup lime juice
1 teaspoon finely grated lime peel
1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Lemon and/or lime slices, for garnish
PREPARE cake mix according to package directions. Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan according to package directions. Cool 10 minutes.
POKE a few dozen holes in cake with round handle of wooden spoon, about 1-inch apart.
STIR sweetened condensed milk, lime juice and lime peel in medium bowl. Pour slowly into holes and over top of cake. Chill 1 hour.
SPREAD whipped topping over top of cake. Garnish with lemon or lime, as desired.
