Pilgrim Hat Cookies
1/2 cup butter, softened or slightly melted
1 large egg
Chewy milk chocolate covered caramel candies, unwrapped
Small orange-coated mints
PREPARE cookie mix according to package directions using butter and egg to make 3 dozen cookies. Cool completely on wire rack.
FROST cookies with chocolate frosting. Place vanilla frosting in a decorating bag fitted with medium star tip. Make a small swirl of vanilla frosting in center of each cookie. Press caramel candy onto vanilla frosting to make top of hat. Add orange candy for buckle.
